Approx. a year ago I retired from federal employment after 25 years of service. Although actively seeking alternate employment, I am presently unemployed..due primarily to our country's recession and the fact that I may be viewed as over-qualified by most prospective employers. In the fall, however, I do plan on attending a vocational school to learn a new trade..to help keep my mind and body active, and avoid a state of vegetation. lol!!With respect to my personal life, I am currently separated from my husband of two years and a divorce is inevitable. Although painful because all separations affects us in more ways than one, this has been a true learning experience and one that will surely make me stronger and wiser. As I enter this new phase in my life, I am hoping to restore my faith in "God" and allow me to regain my happy and youthful character...which was sort of lost in transition....and what made me unique, so I guess.Thus far, I have the loving support of both family and friends...particularly my daughter, who has been by my side through thick and thin...and therefore, my rock!
