Since forming in 2005, Kelley and The Cowboys have been performing a variety of early country standards, heart wrenching ballads, rockabilly numbers, waltzes, upbeat originals, and exciting instrumentals that keep the dance floor packed. Kelley and The Cowboys have been playing festivals and clubs all over the east coast for several years now, and they officially caused a popular club to sell out of beer for the first time last year.
But, this type of frenzy is really no surprise; this act has amazing musicianship and an energetic love for the music that always infects the crowd with excitement. Kelley Breiding's timeless vocals and commanding presence captivate audiences and keep people on the edge of their seat, while guitarist Ray Wood's explosive energy and his cosmic jazz stylings wow the crowd. Award winning cajun fiddler Joel Savoy chimes in with the nostalgic feel of Tommy Jackson, while maestro Matt Sircely brings home the numbers with striking instrumentals on the four string electric Mandolin. The rhythm section is driven by multi-instrumentalist Nick McMillian’s extreme slap bass playing, and the impeccable taste and expertise of Glenn Fields on the drums. Each of these musicians have been immersed in old-time music and early country roots for most, or all, of their lives, giving them a nostalgic feel to their music that just can’t be found in the music of today. Kelley and the Cowboys have recently recorded their debut album and are excited about it's release this summer.
