Earl Knox

About Me

If straight ahead, guitar-driven rock is a game of poker, then Earl Knox is playing with a full house. So says Charlottesville music reviewer Shaun Harvey. Earl Knox is a no frills, in your face rock band. Led by Athens, GA native Bentley Rhodes, the band has Southern roots. Rhodes is a former member of Georgia favorites, Bloodkin, for over 10 years. Now relocated to Charlottesville, he is joined by Jason Coyner on lead guitar, Jason Comfort on drums, and Steve Sutton on bass. If you are wondering what has happened to real rock n roll, this band is your answer.
