About Me

I am originally from Salt Lake City, Utah. While growing up (or not) I also lived in Arvada, Fort Collins, Los Alamos, Santa Fe, and Albuquerque.
I relocated to the east coast in August 2002 to join DYING FETUS , and in six years with them I helped write and record two albums ("War of Attrition" and "Stop at Nothing") and played over 300 shows in North America and Europe. I also moved around quite a bit while living in Maryland (Laurel, Hanover, Millersville, Edgewater, Stevensville...) Currently I live in northern Virginia. In March of 2008 I decided to step down as the 2nd guitarist for Dying Fetus. I'm available to join another band, but currently also enjoying some time to pursue other interests.
I've been playing guitar for 23 years. My earliest influences were Judas Priest, Van Halen, Scorpions, Iron Maiden, Motley Crue, AC/DC and The Ramones, and I have my father to thank for all the Boston, Led Zeppelin, Styx, Foreigner, Heart, and Kiss, which first got me interested in rock music.
Playing guitar led to heavier, more aggressive bands - Metallica and Megadeth, then Anthrax, Overkill and Testament, and then godlike metal such as Slayer, Exodus, Suffocation, and Cannibal Corpse. I also count Nile, Hate Eternal, Goatwhore, and Necrophagist among my best friends and musical influences.
