SAI is a heavy alternative rock band from Gothenburg, Sweden which also has several elements of other genres mixed in their sound. The band was founded by it's main composer Arian in 2007, although 2008 should be considered the band's true start due to this being the year when the present line-up was established: Huy (vocals), Arian (lead guitar), Nikke (rhythm guitar), Ken (bass) & Andie (drums).
Despite their short time as an active band, SAI has already gathered quite a following which continues to increase day by day. It's a band which is aiming to surprise the music scene with a fresh sound while simultaneously fulfilling themselves as musicians completely devoted to their work. In their own words: "The sky is the limit!". With their very first outing - an EP entitled "NEUROTIC DISORDER" - finally having been released, SAI is ready to spread their presence further.
The fact that street teams started to form around the world (in the U.S., Germany, France & even the Czech Republic to name some places) only weeks after the EP's free release (which started pushing 1000 downloads not long after it was first made available) shows that SAI is a band which is well worth keeping an eye on. A considerably stronger follow-up to NEUROTIC DISORDER is already being planned and will hopefully be released in late 2008 or early 2009. In the meantime, SAI continues to play live regularly - spreading their name and increasing their fanbase - while at the same time looking for a management and/or label to support them.
But still, this is only the beginning...
