About Me

Who am I ...... I always question.... coz it is not so easy to define me in one word..... in terms of nationality, I am Japanese...but I am not a typical Japanese.... since the age of 15, I have lived and studied in several parts of the world... such as England, New Zealand, Hong Kong, and U.S.!! I am currently back in my home country, but am planning to leave the country as soon as everything is set to start a graduate school.I miss u all ~~~ those friends all around the world !!!!So.... finding my identity is a constant struggle.... I never really fit in anywhere..... Yeap... I am an outcast.... When I am back in my home country, people never treat me as Japanese... they ask me what nationality am I.... hahaha and, when I am abroad.... people still ask me who I am and where I am from.... does nationality really matter so much? Does our skin of color matter so much the way you treat me??? If u believe in a certain religion, it would limit u to be my friend or special one???? Life is a constact struggle..... I like challenges, so I never look away from any troubles... sure I have experienced racial discriminations and I have received sever sexual harrasement... but all those bad and also good experiences made who I am today....However, I cannot be strong all the time. It would always be nice to have someone who can be on my side....My dream is to become `A Professor who can shake` !!! Yeap, I have two great passion..... learning and dancing.... without either of them, I will lose balance, and lose my mind. People in Japan tell me that I need to select just one, but I know I can do it! I am so passionate about both and I have so much motivation. If I love to do anything, I am not afraid to spend time and effort till I get there. So I decided, I wanna keep both in my life. Some people tell me how it`s impossible to have such two oppsite professions, but once u know me, you know it`s not impossible!!!I like to change my profile every now and then. As I like changes, go figure.... I am changing again on the 9th of May `06, four days before my 24th Birthday. It`s time for change again !!!Photos from Thailand!!

My Interests

I love dancing !!! It is my love and passion right now. No matter what, I find time to dance everyday and willing to learn more! Everyone thinks I am crazy, but I am fine with that, coz it is just so precious in my life!!! I also love travelling. So far I have been to England, New Zealand, Japan, Canada(Montreal), Vietnam, Hong Kong, Shanghai and California, Boston, NY and New Orelands in U.S. At the moment, I wanna go to Italy and Egypt. I am also into fashion and create my own style. I worked in a retail last summer in 2004. Working in a retail is something that a lot of Japanese girls dream of !!!I also like to cook, especially for my family and for my friends! It is good to have someone who I can cook for !! I also like to take photos, mostly of my friends and anything beautiful!!!! Basically, I like to do anything unique. I am not afraid to be different, so I am always open to explore new things !!Japan! My Home Country!Also, I like rice, ice cream and right now seaweed ! You can do so much with seaweed! Cannot resisit sweets, so I balance myself with eating a lot of vegetables and healthy food ! Of course... white rice makes me happy^^

I'd like to meet:

I am always eager to meet new people, but especially artists!!! Artists can be someone who use his/her body as an instrument, like me! I am a dancer, and dancing is a really big part of my life, so I`d always like to meet dancers! Also, artists like painters, poets, photographers, and many other forms who consider themselves as artists!!!! Also, I love to learn something totally foreign in my life, so whoever teach me something new, I am down to meet u ~However, I don`t like people just adding me! So if you want to add me, please message me first! I like to write a lot, so I choose people who read them.... also I am not one of those girls who would decorate your page, so if u add me, know me first and let me know u first!!!

Television:

I don't usually watch TV that much....... I rather spend time practicing dancing or hanging out with my friends. If I though watch something, I like watching sports, such as figure skating and soccer !!! I also like to go the cineama and theater, seeing the live shows!!! Two winters ago, I saw the Phantom of Opera!!! Wow !It was amazing !!! I hope to see `The Lion King` some time this year !!

Books:

I like to read a lot of books, I mean a lot !!!! Becasue of what I study, I tend to read a lot of topics related to international relations, cultural and social issues, and also books related to identity.I am currently reading "Chinese Face/Off" byt Kwai-Cheng Lo !!!

Heroes:

My Mom !!!! Also, my funny, kind and caring brother, Taiga!What is he doing.... hahahaMy brother and .... Me.... yeap... he is always the cute one.... .I have amzing relatives who have inspired me to dance such as my anty an uncle! Also, my friends; Cookie, Arabelle, Molly, Matt and many more !!!!
