My childhood for starters, my eight o’clock bed time music was Led Zeppelin and The Eagles. (My parents were hippies obviously.) At that age I was digging Shirley Temple and Frank Sinatra because I loved to watch them on T. V. That is when I started dancing. Music and dance have a balance with each other. When I listen to music I see dance like a musician will see color. So if the song plays and I see dance, I like it. If the song plays and I relate then I love it. I have no discrimination. It is how I muse.
I like watching movies. I rather watch a movie than television. As long as the story it is not generic and repetitive. My all time favorite is ‘The Big Chill.’
Grey’s Anatomy is the only show I watch on T. V. In fact, it is the only occasion that I will be in the same place at the same time EVERY week. Plus, I watch it with my girl friends and that is always fun!!! Dinner, drinks, a little McDreamy or Steamy for dessert. I think it is my religion!!! (?)
I just got back into reading about 6 months ago. I needed a break after college. I figure 3 years is the proper amount of time before reading anything containing knowledge. Before now, tabloid covers in the grocery store line gave me all the information I needed to know in life. Did you know TomKat reproduced? And, IT’S AN ALIEN! Y’all seriously, you know TomKat and Britney Spears new baby are AS important as North Korea testing nuclear weapons!!! My favorite books are "Go Ask Alice" and "A Brave New World." I am currently reading Flags of our Fathers. I try to read the book before the movie because I know I’ll never read the book once I watch the movie. Plus, the book gives you background and a better appreciation for the story. The last book I read was "Devil Wears Prada." That was a great book!
