After an ace little party last weekend with Rainer Truby flying in for a mammoth back to back session with Stu Clark and Andy Bird (audio coming soon!) - automatica continue their run with our 4th party, happening again in the intimate confines of the Sosho basement in Shoreditch.
This month we welcome down Mancunian uber producer, promoter, label boss and all round disco Svengali - Trus'me - to ply his trade for a Prime Numbers label night in our lovely little automatica basement.
For those who don't know Trus'me hit the bright lights in 2007 with a simply stunning debut album released on Fat City records. Pushed hard by Gilles Peterson et al it's been on constant rotation at Birdsong HQ for the last couple of years. Sound clips here...

But don't take this lad as yet another one re-edit trick pony. From a full analogue studio to live musicians on his record his production ethos is far closer to that of Theo Parish & Moodymann - taking Manchester's rich musical and dance culture and pushing it forward into 2009.
Musically this lad is right up our automatica street. Both with his productions and his globe trotting DJ sets (including a monthy party at APT in New York, and a Disco 3000 Croatia festival planned).
As a label night for the Prime Numbers label he runs we also welcome down an artist known as Discrete Unit who not only has released the latest 12" but also does all their design work!
