I am here for Friends

About Me

I'm like a sponge, absorbing everything I could out of life. I discard parts of me which I find disposable. That would include me being a crybaby. (heheh..)
I like guitars..
I'm still young and I would remain that way forever. I know where the spring of youth is found.. hehe.. Kidding. I just know that as long as myspace is around, I'm immortal. Now tell me.. am I successful in describing myself? It's what I consider the most difficult subject.

My Interests

movies, television, music, dreaming, jam sessions, watching people eat spaghetti, finding good finds at limewire, listening to ten-second tracks, live bands, being a couch potato, staring blankly at the stars, coffee shops, philosophies, scribbling..

I'd like to meet:

The person inside the UST tiger mascot costume, a liberal democrat, The inventor of the PEZ dispenser, a Martian, Samuel Huntington, Santa Claus and The little prince.

Music:

transcending music genres.
regina spektor, sarah mclachlan, tori amos, vienna teng, dave matthews band, the fray, coldplay, keane, imago, mithi, paramita, the killers, death cab for cutie, JMs (john mayer, jason mraz, james morrison), lily allen, d' sound, snow patrol, bamboo, maroon 5, jet, athlete..
I still like this art-inspired music video of tori amos.. It's kind of last-season but my satisfaction from seeing it is timeless. :)

Movies:

sci-fi films, feel-good movies, drama, modern film noirs, art indie films, epic films and selected musicals.
I try to catch great movie lines and lodge them in my head for safekeeping.

Television:

6 ft. under is probably the best tv program I've considered. I like Alan Ball's works.
Certain favorites would include antm, project runway, survivor, friends, simpsons, daria, roswell, and some other tv series I couldn't remember at the meantime.
Fact is, I love watching tv. It's my sanctuary from harsh realities.

Books:

catcher in the rye, dapitan, mythology, good earth, dapitan.
I'd love to write a book..someday maybe.

New band I like..

the third act: the prestige

The movie was definitely dark, capturing the intensity of magic.. or rather, deception. Watching the movie would make you think it's a show about a show and you might be right. But that's su...

Foodtrippin'

Now if you have a good stomach plus money to spend, here's a thing you would love to do. Trying out different dishes is a good past time in my opinion. With the utter desire of my plan with Alexa to g...

Sunday Music

I know it's not Sunday but why am I hearing Sunday music from my neighbor's sound system? Those kind of music makes me feel depressed.. It's a good thing they're not playing "My Way", "Joni, Joni" or ...

The bad side of sembreak

haha.. I should keep this up. I'm starting to get back to blogging.. and to top that off, I'm writing about myself. That's the kind of thing you don't want to do if you want to be read and considered....

World Trade Center?

Perhaps I just expected too much. There is one thing I found in the movie which should have been corrected. 1.The title. Why "WTC"? It could have been "Will and John"...or "The NYC Policemen in ...

untitled

The title is not relevant since this blog is just about the intensity and density of the thoughts in my head right now. I'm beginning to think I've been imprisoned in a certain world I couldn't call m...

Blackout

People have relied heavily on life's comforts. Everything is done in seconds nowadays. Taking electricity away would mean taking away life as we know it, we get back to what some may call "provincial ...

Devil Wears Prada

The movie was great, even for someone like me who only knows fashion icons featured in America's next top model or Project Runway. I swear I saw Heidi Klum featured in the movie when there was a ...
