About Me

About Missy: There really isn't much to tell about me. My name is Alicia (Missy). I am 27 years old and I grew up in Boone County, West Virginia. In 2007, I went through a seperation that ended in divorce. I moved to Florida to "move on".
I met a man...Ted....who I quickly realized was my someone from here on out. Along with him, came his (now) 16 year old son, which T.A. just gained custody of. Raising a 16 year old boy is something I am learning to do one day at a time. I love him tremendously though, which makes it very easy to do. He is such a great kid!
T.A. recently proposed to me. I said yes, ofcourse. I have never been happier! I just know that we were meant to be together and everything in my past was leading me to him.
I suffered a miscarriage in early December. It left me heartbroken. 2007 was one of the roughest years of my life...so many tough changes. We want to move back to my home state as soon as possible. Its not really possible right now, but when the chance comes, we are there, lol. I am considering going back to school, probably in the medical field.
I have some truly wonderful friends who have been my rock through every bad moment this past year. I honestly don't know what I would do without them. It seems like just as things calm down a little from one bad thing...something else knocks me back down again, and they are always there to lift me back up.

About T.A.: My name is Ted, or T.A. I am the father of the greatest 16 year old son. I am just an average guy with average wants and needs. I have a bit of a perverted sense of humor, just ask anyone who knows me. Do not ask Missy tho, she is a bit swayed and will extend the truth a bit...lol.
There really isn't too much to tell about me other than the fact that I love Missy and I love my son, and with those 2 in my life, I do not really want anything else. Anything else that comes along will be considered a bonus.
I am originally from Ohio and have been living in Florida since I was twelve. So when that time does arrive, sooner rather than later, that we all move as a family up to West Virginia, I am not looking forward to the winters. My memories of Ohio winters are walking to school, up hill both ways. Shoveling the driveway at 5am so my Dad could go to work and my fondest memory of being hit in the head with iceballs. So this is going to be a HUGE change for me but one I want to have. Of course there are a few good memories of snowlife. Sledding, tobaginnin(sp), writing my name in the snow....stuff like that...lol
Well that is enough about me. I hope ya'll enjoy our page and if you don't it is all Missy. C'mon, ya'll really don't think I get any input as to how our page looks do ya? LOL I AM IN SOOO MUCH TROUBLE FOR THAT ONE!!! Oh and that reminds me...I have a bit of a protagonist personality also...lmao
