I am Mike. I like shepards pie. I live in Bognor Regis, the sunny sunny town which plays host to the infamous resort of Butlins. The are a few other sites with a Butlins, but none rock harder than Bognor. Fact.
Last year I finished a music course in Northbrook with top marks, which made me very happy - Over the summer I worked as a tech chap at Bunn Leisure - the poor man's Butlins (such a place truly, and sadly, does exist) which is in Selsey. It was enjoyable work but the late hours meant I didn't get out much.
I like to think of myself as a kind of music man, though lately this has been far from true. I supposedly play drums, though I rarely manage to do so more then a few times a month - which is a great shame because there once was a time when I was awesome. As I no longer have a kit at home, I've taken to playing the acoustic guitar that's lying around my house and, yeah I think I'm alright at that.

My Interests

Making babies... I mean music... music is my baby. I play drums long time. I also play guitar and keyboards somewhat abley, but not as well...

I'd like to meet:

people not preoccupied with the pursuit of social status. be yourself man...

unless you're a complete and utter tosspot, in which case be someone else. someone nicer.

Music:

Anything loosely described as rock, except emo. Remember - God gave Rock and Roll to you, use it wisely and don't cry about it. My favourite bands are Thin Lizzy and The Kinks. I am currently listening to Pink Floyd, but I'm sure that will have changed by the time you read this so me saying so is rather irrelevant. I've also decided to be hi-tech and share this with you all. The players are a duo called Rodrigo y Gabriela and the song is pretty obvious. .."425" height="350"
Also this. The book of right on by Joanna Newsom. I think she is wonderful.

Movies:

I'm not the biggest movie fan, but my favorite film is Still Crazy.

Television:

I don't watch much TV anymore cos I work in the evenings. I only really get to see awful antiques and "coverage of people buying a house and then living in it" shows. I try to catch up on things I've missed using th'internets. I like to watch The IT Crowd, The Mighty Boosh and Harry Hill, the only reason not to close down ITV, is someone I have grown very fond of thanks to Dan "the boy" Osbourne.

Books:

I don't read as much as I used to. Discworld novels are fun, I've grown up alongside Harry Potter so he's clearly in there and The Wrong Boy by Willy Russel is brilliant. Just brilliant. I bloody love Nick Hornby, he's one of my favourite authors and I'd recommend anything by him .

Heroes:

Anyone who has put Rock and Roll to good use, and of course the Philominal Philman.
