Anyone that does not annoy me by being politically or emotionally naïve or ignorant.I often enjoy interacting with people that have widely divergent views than I do or that push me to examine my convictions. But if you can’t logically present an argument or are not prepared to vigorously defend your ideas in a logical manner, then don’t waste my time. I detest rhetoric and dogma.
Classical, Techno, Grateful Dead, Folk. Any music that does not whine and complain about everything. No sappy pop music.
Lawrence of Arabia, Apocalypse now, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, any Gene Kelly movie. I like any movie that has a good plot, good acting (directing and casting) and does not solely rely on special effects, sex or violence to keep momentum.
I like all genres, but mostly non-fiction. I primarily read history and social science, but I have extensively read fantasy, sci-fi and horror when I was younger. I have read a great deal.
