I was born the third of four children to an English therapist and an Italian physician in a predominately white upper middle class suburb southeast of Syracuse, NeeYawk. For the first ten years of my life i carried on relatively indifferent to the pressures of living in such a community, until fourteen or fifteen when I acquired object constancy and became engrossed and enchanted by the quaint mystery of streets on a map, and the uncanny feeling one gets upon realizing that two familiar streets intersect at some unfamiliar location. My adolescence was essentially a melee of social paranoia, marijuana overdoses and unprotected dryhumping, all against the backdrop of 9/11 and unsolicited Billy Fucillo advertisements. The epiphany that marked the end of this confused hormonal phase was the moment I realized that the inherent sweetness of life was qualitative, not quantitative, and that the path I walked was as arbitrary as anyone else's.
