About Me

AEI UO is an experimental project by the Venezuelan graphic artist and illustrator Robert Tirado (Currently based in Valencia -Spain) that puts together , digital illustration, painting and graphic design. His artworks are digital as consequence to the experience on traditional art techniques, which gives it a perfect balance between the particular look of digital work and the expression of real life painting that the artist played in his early time... AEIUO is a research for many ways to get optimal results, based in feminine charming and influenced by music, history, art, and the modern fashion world; never leaving behind poetry, geometric shapes, and a critical eye in front of all around. His works has been published in many art and design magazines in Europe, like Belio Magazine (Spain), Kurv magazine (Australia), Stone magazine (Germany), Platform.58 (Uk), k-magazine (Germany) and so tacky magazine (Holland). AEI>UO have some reviews and notes in some design blogs, like proteus blog (from proteus magazine), reader art section juxtapoz magazine or MMM- my modern met blog...In 2008 he was one of the Winners of a Fossil package design competition for Fossil watches. he has worked for music bands like Hong Kong Counterfeit and many collectives (web design and many illustrations) AEI. UO has designed many times for t -shirt lines with important south American brands like indiani (Venezuela) and participated in many art exhibitions as well, since 2004 to 2008.
