"Winning over a girl with a boyfriend is easy. In that case, it is necessary to beat out only one guy. But when a girl is single, the competition has a population of approximately three billion."
Yeah, but do you really want to be with the girl you took from her boyfriend? I'd rather take my chances and be the best out of my three billion opponents.
I'd like to meet a girl who is fun to be around, doesn't judge a book by its cover, has her stuff together and has some kind of direction in her life, has a good sense of humor, laughs at my jokes even though they may not be that funny (a courtesy laugh never hurt anybody) can hold up a conversation, just someone with an all around good personality who likes me for me.
A Tribe Called Quest, Musiq, Brian McKnight, Xzibit, N.E.R.D, Boyz II Men, Black Eyed Peas, The Roots, John Legend, Eminem, The Game, 50 Cent, 2 Pac, Alicia Keys, De La Soul, Dilated Peoples, Kanye West, Ludacris, Outkast, Notorious B.I.G., Twista, Linkin Park, John Mayer, Jack Johnson, Death Cab For Cutie, Jason Mraz, Fort Minor, Wu-Tang Clan....I could go on forever. I'm slowly changing over to more lyrically based artists than those who sole purpose is to make a good club beat with shitty lyrics about money, women and ice. I mean, I like a nice butt just as much as the next man, but does every 3rd song on the radio need to be about booty?
I can't really name an all-time favorite, but there are some good ones that I'll watch over and over. Office Space is funny once you get an office job, and you can totally relate to the characters. The first Friday movie (the rest sucked ass, especially the 3rd one) Scarface (Say hello to my little friend) Kill Bill (I liked Volume 1 more, not enough fighting in Volume 2) Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle (makes me wish they had one on the west coast) The 40 Year Old Virgin (non-stop laughs from beginning to end)
The Sopranos, Scrubs, Family Guy, 24, Entourage, The Boondocks, Friday Night Lights, and what used to be the funniest show on television, the Dave Chappelle Show.
I enjoy a good thriller every now and then. I enjoyed the Vince Flynn line of novels, so much I read 4 of them, and I'm currently reading "Now I Can Die In Peace" by Bill Simmons. The next novel will probably be "Deception Point" or "The Da Vinci Code" both by Dan Brown.
To me, a hero is anybody who gives of themselves to help someone else, and expects nothing in return.
