Broken Silence is a band based out of Staten Island, New York started in 2002. The band was started by long time friends Joe DiSanto(Percussion) and Steve Catalano(Guitar) who then recruited Christian Pazzas to play traveling bass. In a long search for a vocalist Nick Bove was discovered in a an alley way in Great Kills. Nick also took on the roll of guitar player.The band played clubs like Roadhouse Blues, Lamour's, and Doc Street among others.After about a year Nick left the band to pursue a role in Dark Aura. In a whole cluster fuck of events Billiam Gagliardi was chosen to replace Nick on vocals and also took on the roll of bass player because Christian took on guitar to play alongside with Steve.The band played bars and clubs all over Staten Island and disbanded about a year later, but then did a one-off reunion show in the summer of 2005 with Billiam on vocals and guest musician Raymondus Prime.The year is 2008 and the band has come full circle thanks to the pioneers Joe and Steve to rock your socks off!!!!!!! Reunited with the classic line-up of Nick(vocals), Steve(Guitar), Joe(percussion), and Christian(bass). Broken Silence have contacted long time friend Joey Martino to record some material for them.After a long hard thought out process, Christian had decided to leave the band due to personal reasons but still remains close friends with Nick, Steve, and Joe. After a grueling process the band tapped long time friend of Nick, Anthony Ferrara, to play bass.
