Riflessione elettroacustica sull'ambiente contemporaneo sospeso tra consumismo e aspirazioni ambientaliste. Urban Media Soundscape è ispirato al dato secondo cui nel 2006 la maggior parte della popolazione del pianeta ha "scelto" di vivere in città. La densità dei centri urbani è aumentata vertiginosamente. In questa cornice le prospettive futuristiche dell'arte del '900 sembrano avverarsi soprattutto per quel che riguarda gli aspetti più inquietanti. Come nel profetico dramma di bertold Brecht Im Dickicht der Städte (nella giungla della città), all'alienazione astratta ed esistenziale si sostituisce una vera e propria messa in vendita più o meno volontaria dell'uomo urbano contemporaneo. Opinioni, giudizi, moralità tutto è sottoposto alla legge del mercato e al sistema delle quotazioni. ------------------------------------------------------------ -------------------------------Urban Media Soundscape is an audiovisual consideration upon the contemporary environment suspended between consumerism and ecological aspirations. The project is coordinated by Ilaria Mancino and Fabio Iaci, involving different musicians and visual artists whose conception has taken its first steps in the Muv Festival in Florence in 2007. Urban Media Soundscape is inspired by the finding that in 2006 most of the world population has "chosen" to live in the city. The density of urban centers has soared. In this framework, the perspectives of the futuristic art seem to materialize, especially for what concerns the most disturbing aspects. As in the prophetic drama by Bertolt Brecht “Im Dickicht der Städte” (In the jungle of cities), abstract and existential alienation is replaced by the more or less voluntary put up for sale of the urban contemporary man. Opinions, judgments, morality, everything is subjected to the law of the market and to the system of prices. The language of advertising, with its slogans and its jingles, becomes the least common multiple of communication based only on the liking, while the the audience/citizens ability to listen decreases overwhelmed by the excessive "supply". ------------------------------------------------------------ -------------------------------Urban Media Soundscape c'est une réflexion audio-visuelle sur l’environnement contemporaine suspendue entre le consumérisme et l’aspiration écologiste. Cette performance est inspiré par le constat que, pendant 2006 la plupart de la population mondiale a «choisi» de vivre dans la cité. Dans ce cadre, les perspectives de l’art futuriste se concrétiser, en particulier pour ce qui concerne les aspects les plus inquiétants. L'aliénation existentielle et psychologique est remplacé par une plus ou moins volontaires, vente de l'homme urbain contemporain. Les opinions, les jugements, toute morale est soumise à la loi du marché et à le système des prix. La langue de la publicité, avec ses slogans et ses jingle, devient le plus petit commun multiple de la communication basée uniquement sur le cote de popularité, tandis que la capacité d'écoute de la clientèle ou les citoyens accablés baisses d'approvisionnement «excessif».----------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------Junglecity 2
