Strayform is a platform that allows artists and fans to replicate the functions of the major distributors themselves. We provide:
1. A social network that enhances traditional social networking features with special features designed aroud media creation. Become a fan of an artist and get special access, updates, and communications from the artist. Select media as a favorite to increase its rank and improve our recommendation system. Favorite media and artists appear on your profile to lead your friends to new things they will enjoy.
2. A proposal system so that allows artists to raise money to make new creative works by accepting pledges from Strayform members. During the creation process money is held to protect both the creator and the people pledging money. When the work is completed the artist is paid and the work is released under a Creative Commons license so it can be used and shared freely.
3. A library of these freely tradable movies, songs, games, text, and pictures so that you can check new work and find new artists that you want to support.
