General
I like to learn/read/talk about quantum mechanics and anything science: Fractals, the Law of Attraction, chaos theory, Superstrings, M-theory, singularity. Anything and everything that is true or imagined. Philosophy, culture, music, history, government conspiracy, astronomy, Latin, Taoism, anthropology, theosophy, epistemology, metaphysics, energy drinks, sociology, psychology, sexuality, art (in every form), the significance of math, sacred geometry, free-hand perfect circles, Greek mythology, spirituality, carbon footprints, lucid dreaming. Reading is knowledge, and the more you know, the more you're aware of the fact that you don't know shit: the pursuit to comprehend more and fulfill your potential is the purpose of life. Life made us as a mirror, ya dig?
I like piercings and tattoos, self-expression is key to a sense of self-worth. I'm really into meditation and consider myself spiritual. Call me a hippy. Those who achieve Enlightenment don't need money or acceptance. I strive to become a rock... And I like to cook. ;)
I'd like to meet:
Danny. RIP 6/26/86 - 2/4/07 I love you and I miss you everyday.
Cool people who can handle their own shit and not lie. Necessarily without any addictions, psychotic exes, violent tempers, stupididty or money problems. Because frankly, I just don't give a shit about your drama. I want friends, not patients. Kthxbye.

Music:
Music
Underground hip hop, HOUSE! ambient, horrorcore, trip-hop, electro, Spanish guitar (is that even a legitimate genre?), classic rock, D&B, classic reggae (Not this new SHIT, Peter Tosh is reggae. Reggaeton? Marley's turning in his grave.) electronic, turntablism, metal, blues, jazz, and indie/folk music. I poop on mainstream music!
Movies:
Movies
City of God is a foreign film (yeah, with subtitles). It's in Portuguese. It's awesome, and if you didn't watch Pan's Labyrinth because of the subtitles, you suck. Because that movie was also awesome.
The Jacket Couldn't possibly explain how entertaining this movie is. This guy goes through some pretty fucked up medical treatments and it has some crazy side effects.
Anything with Edward Norton. Who else can go from a skinhead to a magician? And anything with drag, a la David Bowie in Labyrinth and/or Rocky Horror Picture Show. Don't ask.
Run Lola, Run is another foreign flick that kicks ass.
Mostly anything foreign or independant seems to be leagues better than the shit Hollywood keeps pumping out. "Box office hit" in America = sucky waste of two hours and $7.50. You know it takes some people an entire hour to make that much money?
Ok, ok,
Full Metal Jacket,
Black Hawk Down and the
X-Men series aren't bad. And Rob Zombie is becoming increasingly more talented. The new Halloween is just as classic as the classics. Anything from the 80s,
Monster Squad,
Whiz Kid,
Pippy Longstocking,
Heathers. I like that old school shite.
Books:
Books KICK ASS!
Food of the Gods by Terrence McKenna. It is my bible. Concerning the origins of language and religion in early hominids and the social structure of ancient man that seems so much more appropriate than the fucking shit we're in now. It's parallel to my interpretation of the development and evolution of god.
A Brief History of Time by Steven Hawking is mostly to do with space-time and dimensions. It's like "Physics for Dummies".
A Clockwork Orange is kick ass book in a made up language, "I'll kick you in your rot and let the krovvy flow". Yea bitch. Not to be confused with Clockwork Orgy. ;) Stanley Kubrik actually did an amazing job considering that "the book is usually so much better than the movie."
The Prophet is a book I'd want to live by and recommend only if you're somewhat deep and can read between the lines of poetry. Otherwise the wisdom of this book will be completely lost amongst all that other shit that just doesn't make sense.
The Kybalion (Hermetic philosophy) and Chalice and the Blade by Riane Eisler (for the feminists) might change your perspective on EVERYTHING. There are certain sections of the book store I frequent more than others, lately religion and science. I love fiction, but there's no need to mention the classics and you don't give a shit anyway. I'll stop indulging.
