I dont normally watch TV, bt when i do, i tend to watch channel U because a grime fan and Anti American.
Have you noticed how PANTS CHANNEL U has recently BECOME?
There are so many MCs out there making music and channel U only picks the few good 1s.
Well that good for them if they like low ratings, the only reason its stil running is because people pay 1pound 50 pence per text to talk to each other and see their txtes on screens. (rich bored people)
And on that note I'VE actually DECIDED to MAKE a DVD to show how much the levels of Grime and UK Rap has gone up since the previous hits such as "Lethal B- Pow (Foward)" and "Skepta- Private caller" and "Jammer- Murkle Man".
Im not saying those song arent good, im just trying to prove that channel U plays any bullshit and that ALOT of MCs deserve to be noticed and recorgnised as Artists because of their work rate, talent and determination.
MCs and Rappers need some level of appriciation for the work they're doing and for their contuinous input into the Grime scene.
The DvD is calld Hungry Spittaz dvd, i feel that name speaks for its self interms of what kind of MCs are involved in the project. It include MCs who have dedicated a lot of time to Grime and Music, and that feel Grime hasnt fully paid them back and further more believe that GRIME IS NOT DEAD.
Grime is not dead, nore is it live
grime is hungry. FACT. Ask your favourite Mc.
The dvd contains many popular MCs which are becoming house hold names.
But on the other hand it will also consist of some "unknown" talents who have been working hard in the back ground, this dvd will hopefully make a statement for their recognition.
Many MCs are deprived of finances due to how unkind Grime is nowadays and how broke many people who listen to grime are. Limewire,Bearshare,Realplayer Plus aswell as other virus giving, illegal, download sites allow fans to download their favourite MCs work for FREE.
Its seems like all MCs get, are Radio and Myspace plays along with the one off low paying rave every weekend. And that ain't everyone and always.
HungrySpittaz will have a compilation of MCs and Rappers who are overall VERY talented shown thru their bars and flows. When the dvd is finished i think grime and rap fans will enjoy it and will have a clearer overview of Urban UK music and see it in a new light.
Im hoping this dvd influences Grime fans to buy CDs, having bought my DVD FIRST..
