For those who don’t know the band’s history, Tropa de Shock started to excel in the early 1989’s, been pointed by the critics as the band of the 90’s, with the album “Fragmentos – Fragments”.

It was in 1992 however, that the band found its place within the International Market, earning the admiration of a faithful public in cities like Sidney, Melbourne and Adelaide, in Australia, with the hits "Angels of Eternity" and "Hard Storm".
Now more mature and showing a more suitable style for the Classic Heavy Metal, Tropa de Shock launches, in 1997, its second album, (first CD), “Angels of Eternity”.
By the end of the 90’s, Tropa de Shock went on tour twice over Europe, (The Netherlands, Germany, Greece, Belgium, England, Italy and France), bringing them dozens of full and double page interviews with top magazines like Metal Hammer-Greece, Metal Invaders, Mind view Magazine, Power Zone, Rock Hard, Metal Shock, Flash Magazine, Seventh Sign; and interview in several radio programs.
Among so many presentations in Brazil, some stand out, like Paul Di’anno’s (Iron Maiden ex-vocal), Brazilian Tour and appearances in several “Expomusics”, (Latin America’s main Music Fair), playing alongside with great musicians like Greg Bissonette (ex-Malmsteen), Primal Fear, DC Cooper, Pink Cream 69, Focus and Uriah Heep.
Tropa de Shock lent its name and talent in several occasions for charity events, thus showing that Rock can and should also mean awareness. The project “Rock para a Vida” – “Rock for Life”, (Pacaembu – SP and Praia Grande – SP), gathered more than 20,000 people.
After that, the heavy metal band Tropa de Shock release's the new album: “After Twilight.” The concept of the group changed and it is much heavier and ripened, with stronger and current themes on a close future. The production is more thickened with heavy guitars. The great innovation is the permanent inclusion of a keyboard that didn't exist until the last work.
The idea of this album appeared starting from discussions of the members on the humanity's future. “We noticed that the people are becoming machines, losing what has of more important than is the own humanity”, it comments on vocalist Don.
The conception of the “After Twilight” it ended if turning an Odyssey. Is all the truth shown in the city of Akibah, where does the mascot Bad Woman find a frozen man, in the reality “The Chosen one”, in a time when the men have been deteriorated (some similarity with the days today????!!!!). He wakes up three thousand later years, time shown in the CD. When coming across with this it finds strange reality, Bad Woman is incredulous with what sees, the world taken by robots and totally commanded by artificial intelligence (A.I.).
The theme approached in this CD writer Adriano Villa that is writing a book on the theme urged and that it will be thrown together with the CD. “After Twilight” have 10 songs and brings a “bonus track” to the fans: the new version of the classic “The Blade of the Wind” (1998).
In After Twilight, the band have two special guests: Michael Weikath, guitarist of Helloween, make's a incredible solo on "The Sunrise is Forever"; Edu Ardanuy, the brazilian guitarist of Dr. Sin, makes the solo at "A New Way".
Their shows are a real adrenaline rush, full of special effects, which bring back to the public the return of the great concerts of the 80’s. Besides, the band show its mascot – “Bad Woman”, who represents both sides of humanity: Good & Evil.
Tropa de Shock line up is: Don (vocals), Daniel Simon (lead guitar), De Grigo (lead guitar), Valeria Moregola (keyboards), Denis Ortiz (bass) and Márcio Minetto (drums).
