About Me

The music of The Squall Line came about in the summer of 2001, when 'Nasty' Nate Waters was fronting Lexington KY's punk faves The Infected and the short lived hardcore metal group Malign. Nate and Patrick Cammack (Outlaw Culture, Hatchet Wounds, Winter Death Club) met in jail during the final years of the infected, when there was an incident that landed Nate along Mark Borders (guitarist of Infected) in the slammer for a short time. Upon Nate and Pat's release they managed to find each other and formed what came to be know as the Squall Line. After many years and many members they disbanded in March 2006. The Line reunited with former members of The Infected in early 2007 to release older material recorded in 2004 and to perform two performances in Cincy and Lex. with friends The Great Depression. No one knows what the future will be for Nasty & Co., maybe a couple tours this summer and a new release with our present line up. For now the release of "The Parts That I've Changed" b/w "Kirt Dills.." on a clear 7" vinyl will be arriving in the mail any day now! The test pressings have been in for a while now and they sound great! There will also be an assortment of T shirts, stickers, hats and buttons available from mail order or CD Central in a couple weeks or so. We will keep ya posted!!!
