I am a talented and versatile young chef who loves talking about food as much as I love cooking.

As a little girl, I was always in my grandmothers kitchen watching her cook. By the time I was a teen, I knew my life had to revolve around food but I wasn't truly sure what this meant.

My journey began in Miami and Rhode Island at Johnson & Wales University, college of the culinary arts . Where I obtained both a Bachelors of Science in Culinary Arts & Culinary Nutrition.

With a strong belief that your food comes from your soul, I wanted to discover the origins of many dishes I had learned to prepare and so I began my travels.

First to Europe where I spent a period working as a chef in a small town outside Milan, Italy. Then immersed myself in wine studies at the Deutsche Wein-und Sommelierschule in Germany where I received a Sommelier Certificate. This was followed by working at Champneys Resort in England, one of the largest destination spa groups in the world. Here I refined my knowledge of healthy cooking and nutrition.

In 2003, I took all these rich experiences back to sunny California where I began working at the Deepak Chopra Center at La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad.

It was around this time that I had realized that what I really loved was instructing others in the delights of culinary arts. I have been busy ever since, teaching group and private cooking classes, working as a private chef, catering events and am in the process of developing recipes that I hope one day make into a cookbook all my own.

I am passionate about food and it shows in my many styles of cooking classes, as well as the faces on my many students.

"My goal is to teach at schools throughout Southern California and create the best courses available. My teaching focuses on healthy, international, and just plain fun cooking. My passion and years of experience allows me to be very versatile".
