Capital E, formerly Young E the Shy One, is an independent artist from Central Cali who has been doing his music since 2000 and on a mission to let everyone know who he is and what he is doing. Capital E's style is mixed with Hip-Hop and Rap with a little of R&B. As writing his own music, recording his tracks at his home studio, producing his tracks and mastering them as well, and designing his albums and putting them together, E's game is really making moves. Working with other independent artists from arcoss the country, giving them the chance to feature on his album and letting them do their thang. E really believes that collaborating is the key to let everyone know who you are and that it's the only way to get somewhere. Capital E is always down to collaborate.
Capital E started back when he was in high school in 2000 listening to local valley rappers such as Young Droop with Killa Valley Ent. and Proud By Choice (P.B.C.). The more he listened the more influenced he gotten to wirte a few raps. During this time, E had a lot of raps written down, but no music to flow them with. E then started looping beats from other artists to see what he had. After a while more songs were written and with a tape recorder in his room started to record these songs under the name Da Young Bandit.
In 2001 E recorded and produced his first demo tape under the name Young E. The 12 track demo tape, Young E Style...And It Goes Like, was E's first project. 10 copies were made and all 10 sold qiuckly. Word around the high school spread about Young E.
Then in 2002, with more songs and with internet beats, E went to a local recording studio and recorded his first album, First Time Comin under his own lable Bad Azz E Productions. Once again 10 copies were made and all 10 sold on the streets of Hanford.
Young E added The Shy One to his name and started on his second album Look N2 My Eyez, under 12/16 Records. During the writing of the album, a local rapper found Young E and offered to work with him and this album. With a place to record and someone to show him the ropes about the rap game, Look N2 My Eyez was well put together than the first album. After the second album was finished, E had his own studio and his room to record in. Studio time was not an issue anymore. With his own studio, he wrote and recorded his third album, Secrets & Lies, in half the time from the second album.
Secrets & Lies was Young E's first album to be sold world wide through the internet. This was a strong album that told stories about the everyday struggles and feels people have during the time when they feel alone and angy. The album received four out of five mics for creative project during 2004.
During the production of the third album, Young E was also working of his fourth album. The album Cap-ital E, under Out 4 Mine Records, was his best project to this point. At first the album contented 17 tracks, but shorten down to 12 tracks plus 2 bonus tracks. Released in early 2005, Cap-ital E was the best selling album Young E had. It had hip-hop, rap, and dance tracks for everyone's listening.
The production of Cap-ital E followed the next project. From the cut tracks from the fourth, album five and the last from Young E the Shy One, Out 4 Mine released in early 2006
