Don't let set backs keep you from living & loving

About Me

My fiance, Jarrod, and I just had our little boy Dillon. He was born on October 25 at 7 lbs. 2 oz. and 21 inches long. We are getting married April 7th!

My Interests

I love to dance! Whether it be performing at a competition, basketball game, football game, or at a club I love it. I've been doing it ever since I was three and I don't think anything compares. I also love to be at the beach or out in a boat. I try to surf to the best of my capabilities and I love being pulled behind a boat either on a wake board, a knee board, or just a tube. Snorkling aroudn reefs is also and adventure for me.

I'd like to meet:

My mom's mom. She died before I was born, but from what I've heard from my mom and how my mom turned out, she had to be a pretty great lady.

Music:

I can listen to just about anything. Country's Brad Paisley and Sugarland do some major ass kicking; Jarrod and I saw them in concert. Jack Johnson and Dave Matthews can always calm me down and make me feel better, but Guns 'n' Roses has become a favortie ever since I heard Sweet Child of Mine. Goo Goo Dolls are also an awesome band and a little Nora Jones with glass of wine and a bubble bath never hurt a girl like me;)

Movies:

I would have to say my favorite all time love story (yes, it's corny) is City of Angels. I think the most twisted movies are the Saw 1 and Saw 2 movies, they both gave me really bad nightmares and I felt really unsafe after watching Saw 2 (good thing Jarrod was sound asleep, I felt very comforted!)

Television:

I don't really have a lot of time to watch television but I try to stay away from all the reality shows (Laguna Beach drives me crazy ...sorry). I'd rather laugh than watch drama that already goes on in my life. The Simpsons, Family Guy, and South Park are my favorite cartoons but Friends can always make me laugh even if I'm in a bad mood :)

Books:

I like to read a lot but my all time favorite book is White Oleander by Janet Fitch, it's definately a chick book.

Heroes:

My hero is my Grandpa. He was a spy for the Navy and taught me a lot. He lost a long battle towards cancer but he never lost his faith.
