About Me


In a society that is bombarded with images of war, famine and hopelessness, Jacksonville Florida pop/rock band Tragedy Hero is a welcome distraction amidst the chaos. Formed in the spring of 2008 veteran Musicians Andrew Perlowich, Kelly O'Brian and Patrick Wilkens set out to create a group that would provide for its listeners an not only an escape, but also an outlet.
With RIAA Recognized Gold Label Recipient, Scott Fravala (Red Jumpsuit Apparatus) and his amazing team at Vision Sound Productions behind them, they have created a pop/rock mix that will make you stand up and take notice. With their melodic prose and genuine concern they express the inexpressible and prove, that you can you can rock hard, have a great time while still getting your message across. When asked what the name Tragedy Hero stands for lead vocalist Andrew Perlowich had this to say, “I believe that our music is what our generation has been waiting for. There is so much focus right now on the state of the world and a lot of times older generations seem to assume that we don’t care when in fact we do, we just have a different way of expressing our concern. Our generation speaks through music, music stirs emotion, and it’s emotion that stirs us to action. “
Teaming up with Invisible Children Tragedy Hero has decided to donate $1 dollar for every CD sold to Invisible Children. This group has proven that while there are many tragedies in the world music has been and always will be…its hero.
