Dream Theater, Korn, Clawfinger and many other influences cross each other in the middle of this mercyless mechanics. ____________________________________________________________ __HISTORY : 2008: Crysalid's first album "Come Closer" is out! / 2007: Elisa leaves Crysalid, Matthias join in. Creation and record of the album "Come Closer". / 2005 - 2006: JC leaves the band. Crysalid plays on the local scenes. / 2004: First EP "Tears Are Dividing" self made by the band. / 2003: Crysalid's creation : Sébastien - Drums / Ilario - Keyboard / Guillaume - Bass / Maxime - Guit / JC - Guit / Elisa - Vc ____________________________________________________________ __MEMBERS: ____________________________________________________________ __MATTHIAS NUSSBAUMER: Vocal. Nowadays student at Lausanne's jazz's conservatory (E.J.M.A). Matthias attended Geneva's ETM's professional section during two years. Matthias, influenced by Clawfinger, Norma Jean, Staind, brings a neo-metal touch to Crysalid. ____________________________________________________________ __MAXIME MAULET: Guitar and backing vocal. After 6 years of private lessons, he studied the guitar at Geneva's ETM's professional section. Fond of metal music, he is also a guitar teacher. Freak Kitchen, Korn and Meshuggah are the sources of his inspiration. He also plays with Bad Taste (Pop Rock). ____________________________________________________________ __SEBASTIEN PERRAD: Drums. Fond of progressive metal, he starts drumming in 1996, developing his technic with Dream Theater as reference. He was also member of the hard-rock band Black Rain and plays with Bad Taste. ____________________________________________________________ __ ILARIO CAVALIERE: Keyboard. Ilario made his first musical steps in 1996. Mostly influenced by metal music, he also brings in a pop-rock side, being particularly fond of U2, Alanis Morissette or Muse. ____________________________________________________________ __GUILLAUME GIAZZI: Bass. Certified of Geneva's ETM's professional section, Guillaume gives bass lessons in several music schools. From jazz to metal, he was member of several bands and he also plays with Bad Taste. ____________________________________________________________ __ ____________________________________________________________ __ ____________________________________________________________ __ Bio en français ____________________________________________________________ __Sombre et puissant, le quintet Franco-Suisse CRYSALID distille un métal néo-progressif efficace et mélodique. Dream Theater, Korn, Clawfinger et bien d'autres influences se retrouvent face à face au cœur de cette mécanique précise et impitoyable. Avec l’album Come Closer, sorti en 2008, le groupe marque un tournant décisif dans son évolution musicale dans l’espoir de partager plus largement son énergie et son goût pour la scène. ____________________________________________________________ __MEMBRES : ____________________________________________________________ __ MATTHIAS NUSSBAUMER : Chant. Actuellement élève au conservatoire de jazz de Lausanne (E.J.M.A.), Matthias a suivi deux années de cours dans la section professionnelle de l’E.T.M. de Genève. C’est au travers de groupes tels que Mass Hysteria, Clawfinger, Norma Jean ou Staind qu’il apporte sa touche Neo-Metal dans Crysalid. ____________________________________________________________ __MAXIME MAULET : Guitare & chant. Après 6 ans de cours particuliers, il étudie la guitare électrique en section professionnelle de l’E.T.M. à Genève. Passionné de metal, il est aussi professeur de guitare. Freak Kitchen, Korn et Meshuggah sont les sources de son inspiration. Il joue actuellement avec Bad Taste (Pop Rock). ____________________________________________________________ __SEBASTIEN PERRAD : Batterie. Féru de metal progressif, il débute la batterie en 1996, développant son jeu avec notamment Dream Theater comme référence. Il fut aussi membre du groupe de Hard-Rock Black Rain et joue avec Bad Taste. ____________________________________________________________ __ILARIO CAVALIERE : Synthé. Autodidacte, Ilario fit ses premiers pas musicaux en 1996. D’influence metal, il apporte aussi à Crysalid une touche pop-rock, affectionnant tout particulièrement U2, Alanisse Morissette ou Muse. ____________________________________________________________ __GUILLAUME GIAZZI : Basse. Diplomé de la section professionnelle de l’E.T.M. à Genève, Guillaume est professeur de basse dans plusieurs écoles de musiques.
