MySpace seems to have a way of finding people I haven't talked to in years, so I'd love to get back in touch with anyone I went to highschool, or elementary school with, the kids I grew up with on Rack Ct. and anyone I may have known throughout my life.I'm the type of person that thinks you can never have too many friends too, so feel free to drop me a message if you'd like to get to know one another... I don't just add people to my friends list though, everyone in my list I've at least had one conversation with at some point in my life... even if it was a short one.
Ummm, lots, let's just look at my CDs... Lilly Allen, Tori Amos, Laurie Anderson, And One, Assemblage 23, Jon Auer, Beastie Boys, Belly, Berlin, The Birthday Massacre, Bjork, the Breeders, Catherine Wheel, Cazwell, Cibo Matto, Curve, Meg Lee Chin, CombiChrist, Covenant, the Cranberries, Depeche Mode, Tanya Donelly, Eon, 50 Foot Wave, Front 242, Frontline Assembly, Garbage, the Go-Gos, Gorillaz, Kay Hanley, Imogen Heap, Kristen Hersh, Icon of Coil, Kasabian, the Killers, Kill Hannah, Kevorkian Death Cycle, KMFDM, Letters to Cleo, Lady Tron, Lady Sovereign, Lords of Acid, Lush, L7, Luxt, Magnapop, Marilyn Manson, Mazzy Star, Medicine, Ministry, My Bloody Valentine, Modest Mouse, the Muffs, Jason Mraz, My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult, Anna Nalick, Nine Inch Nails, Nitzer Ebb, New Order, Klaus Nomi, the October Project, oHgr, Over the Rhine, Liz Phair, Andrea Parker, Peaches, Poe, the Pixies, Praga Khan, Pzychobitch, Radio Iodine, Razed in Black, Republica, Ringside, Ruby, Scissor Sisters, Shampoo, Sister Machine Gun, Sneaker Pimps, Throwing Muses, Terrorfakt, Jennifer Trynin, Voodou, White Zombie/Rob Zombie, Wolfsheim :wumpscut:... that's not everything, but that's enough.
I'll rent almost anything on DVD, but I don't get out to see new movies all that often...
I watch FAR too much TV... some of what I watch regularly and enjoy: CSI (All of them), Lost, Battlestar Galactica, Nip/Tuck, Project Runway, Top Chef, America's Next Top Model, Weeds, The L Word, Friends Reruns... and when in doubt, FoodTV.
I read... a lot. I like the modern fantasy genre particularly... modern day settings with fantasy elements in a sort of "what if..." setting. Authors like Laurell K. Hamilton, Charles de Lint, or Jim Butcher. I'm also a big sci-fi fan, authors like Robert Heinlein and Ursula LeGuin, and Philip K. Dick. I'll also pick up a lot of horror novels on occasion, but I prefer the more twisted Lovecraftian horror to the Stephen King variety, even though I've read more than my share of King novels in my day.
I can't say that I have any heroes... there are a lot of people that I look up to, but no one that I can say that I idolize to the point that I'd call them a hero.
