Here's a band that has gone through many changes in the time that I've known them. I first met them when they were a four-piece known as Candyfarm. I remember feeling the energy involved with their own brand of music. I made it a point to weasel my way into the band, just to be a part of something I felt was truly authentic. As luck would have it, after dropping the lead singer at the time, I was inducted to play guitar. I played with Candyfarm for a year and got to see the genius behind the madness. Never have I seen three guys as dedicated to their music as this. Their songs came together almost as if they were communicating on a level beyond our normal thought. When we parted ways, I had to remain a part of this phenomenon, one way or another. So, here I sit, about to promote the shit out of one of my favorite Sacramento bands.
Eat A Bullet (E.A.B.) is a band fused with energy and raw power. Does that sound cliché? Well, once you hear them, you’ll find no other way to describe it. Through the years, this trio has cultivated a sound that is distinctly E.A.B. With full control over their studio recordings, they have managed to perfect their vision, while maintaining that “live show†feel. “Lying Downâ€, my personal favorite, is geared to have your heart pounding loud enough that you don’t even notice the urine running down your leg. Yes folks, that’s what I call excitement! With churning rhythms that will embed themselves into your cranium, and tuning that will tickle your bowels, E.A.B. will definitely get your fists flying, boots stomping, and ass shaking with anticipation.
Keep an eye on your local venue listings. E.A.B. is certainly a local “Don’t Miss†band.
