About Me

Hi there I'm Phil Shanahan. I was born in Helena, Montana where I lived until I was 18. After that I went to college at Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA for a year, then transferred to LMU in Los Angeles where I got a BFA in film. I worked 5 years at Panavision in Tarzana, CA and then began working as an Assistant Cameraman. I worked on several films as an AC, and have had the privilege of working around a lot of top Actors and Directors, as well as Directors of Photography. All during this time I continued my work as an independent Filmmaker. I've won a couple awards on my film "Lost Victories" which is posted along side some of my better works. I currently have a backlog of projects waiting to uploaded. They will become available as soon as they are finished and encoded. In the meantime I hope you enjoy the site.

Sitting Here
