In the past 10 years i've lived in Portland OR, New Orleans, Durham NC, Paris, New Haven, Seattle and San Francisco and I still get nostalgic about each one. i *love* drive-in movie theaters and having someone else wash my hair. my favorite feeling is when the plane's rear wheels lift off the runway. when i'm 65, i want my grandchildren to visit me at my bungalow on the beach for the summer. i make a mean pad thai and play a decent game of pool, even when drunk. i like to do the NYT crossword in pen, because it looks prettier. i want to learn to quilt. the places i most want to visit are nova scotia and new zealand. I love to travel to new countries. i've driven to 48 states, including AK.
