Once again, it is update time...
Where to begin... It is summertime now....that means lots of work and lots of time with the horses. I love summer! It's so nice to have dry feet for a little while!
My horses are doing well. Sugar Bomb is 4 now ( my baby is all grown up!). We took our first reining lesson with John Irish in June. That was quite an experience. I can't wait to go back for another lesson in August. We have so much to work on! Gypsy is just over a year old now. I should take some new pictures of her and post them on here. She is starting to look like a big horse now (not a baby anymore). Luckily, she still has a while to go so I get to "enjoy" her obnoxious baby behaviour a bit longer! Actually, she has really turned out to be the sweetest little horse. She will do anything for attention and just loves to be petted and loved on. There isn't a mean bone in her body!
Work has started to get a bit busy. It has been an interesting summer so far. I hope business continues to stay steady thru August. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the tourists continue to head our way.
2009 has not been the best of years so far in some respects. My Grandpa passed away and some other friends and family members had health issues as well. Some recovered, some have not yet, and some did not. I keep saying my little prayers each day for the ones that are still fighting. But I am keeping a positive attitude....when times get tough it's important to keep your head up.
