Jensen And The Interceptors ARE SPLITTING UP!

About Me

BAND TO SPLIT
Due to conflicting interests, band politics, lifestyles and ambition, it is my somewhat sad duty to annonce the end of Jensen And The Interceptors. We part on friendly terms which is nice.
The current line-up will be for-filling there current gigging oblugations at the following 3 dates;
Thursday June 18th 444Club @ Bullit, Tamworth.
Friday June 19th Chicks Dig Jerks @ Adam & Eve, Digbeth, Birmingham.
Friday July 3rd The Big Bang's Album Launch @ The Victoria, Birmingham.
So these shows will be your last chance to see this band. We may be joined by our On/Off Organ player; John Presley of The Solomons and River's Presley Set fame at 1 or maybe all of the gigs.
Be great to see you there...

The Band are not intrested in any type of Pay-To-Play shows, with Greedy Promoters, where Line-Ups are rarely similar. It's not fair on Fans or The Band alike, We all want to have a good time right?
The Debut E.P
The finishing touches are now being made and the Debut E.P "Here Are The Interceptors" will be available in the near future on CD and for download (Date TBA Very Soon, along with Launch Party details).
It will include tracks already demoed such as 'There's A Girl' and will feature the first recording of the bass driven, live favourite freakout-along 'Some Other Guy'...

Sounds Like: "Melting together the holy trinity of freakbeat, British Invasion pop and gritty garage rock, Jensen And The Interceptors formed only a few months ago but already have their songwriting skills sorted. The propulsive, 'Hey Joe'-aping 'There's A Girl' has the garage-jangle and snotty vocals we all have come to love, the demo of 'Just To Cry' is pure primitive Thee Headcoatees-esque joy, whilst 'Sitting Side by Side' is one-part cheese-grating guitars and one-part 'bop sha woo wop' vocals. These Interceptors are surely the offspring of the Black Lips generation, and doing it just as well as the masters." SHINDIG! Magazine
