I would actually like to meet any WWII veteran because that is my historical war that I am most interested in. My Papa Wroe was in the Navy stationed at Pearl Harbor on D-Day so WWII is kind of personal to me. He came back from it but of course age gets you in the long run. When I get to heaven I want to of course see God, Jesus, and My papa.It really depends on if they want to meet me because I am a US soldier and not very many people like hanging out with us especailly when they start talking about politics, religion and the war on terriorism. Well at least my mom's side of the family I can't stand talking to because of that but most civilians are like that unfortuantly. I used to be opinionated.{Hint if you're not in the military, I'm not interested in you!!!}I want to meet people who are a lot like me but are not me. I would like to meet people that like to have fun and are into the outdoors. Those people have to like to get dirty in order to be around me because where ever I go, I can get people dirty (with dirt).

Music:

Should have been a 42R in the Army Band! Music is my life. I am clarinet section leader (I am the only highschool clarinet but I am the best anyway.) I also play the tenor saxophone for pep band and Jazz band. I enjoy listening to all kinds of music including Greenday, Little Big Town, Jason Ardean, Big and Rich, Jeremy Camp, and Beetoven. I basically like all kinds of music except polka, bluegrass, and rap. Should have been a 42R.

Movies:

I enjoy most movies. The best movie ever was Ladder 49. It was so sad but Jack Morris (Joaquin Phoenix) was so brave. I don't think I could give my life that easily. I also like chick flicks. (Duh I am a chick of course I would like them!) I also enjoy action, comedy, and drama. Movies I've recently seen: Click (very funny and sad at the same time) Eragon (rates with The Lord of the Rings trilogy) Pirates of the Caribean2 (not that great) Elizabethtown (excellent chick flick) Just Married (really funny) Open Season (funny) Napoleon Dynamite (Not that great) The Prodigy was a really creepy movie but you won't find it in stores unless you're from Dallas, Texas. I just happened to get lucky while I was at FSH, TX and went to the movie premier while on extra duty.

Television:

What is televison? We don't have television in the Army. I have a laptop though so that keeps us all in contact with the civilian world! I don't watch that much tv but my favorite show is Everybody Loves Raymond. My mom uses it as therapy. That is pretty scary sometimes! Over There is the closest show that comes to perspective with what is actually going on in Iraq. It is helping overcome a lot of shit that I've been through and am going to go through when I go over there.

Books:

The Soldier's Manual, everything a soldier needs to know about D&C throught hand to hand combat. I love to read. I enjoy inspirational romances and I enjoy anything wrote by Janette Oke. She is my favorite author. I also like to read anything that I can learn from. I have recently finished Jarhead by Anthony Swofford. It was very graphic but very interesting. Love my Rifle more than You is an awesome book about a young woman's view of the Army. Its about being young and female in the Army. Not for the weak minded. Dear John by Nicholas Sparks is an excellent read. Its a romance but not really. Its the guy's perspective which is a bonus twist. It is about a guy in the Army so that is another reason why I like it.

Heroes:

My biggest hero is myself. I look up to my mom and Grandma Wroe. But mostly my hero is myself. I am the only one that can save myself from what I get into sometimes! My SDS and my platoon DS they motivate me to make myself better than what I am. What is a hero? One could define a hero as an idol. So honestly I think this section should be titled People I look up to. Honestly I don't think anyone should look up to me because I am just an Army grunt.
