About Me

Yes, silly username but a French friend coined it.......I get a chuckle out of it.
Well about me. I moved back to Cleveland after almost 7 years of living in Boston. Why you may ask? Because of the splendid weather of course! Really though, to be closer to family and friends. Been spending the past year intensely helping the family as my father is struggling with a rare type of cancer.
About me: I am an outgoing, fun, intelligent and open minded person (my biased opinion of course) who enjoys good humor and loves to laugh. I like being active and taking care of myself. I am passionate about life, adventurous and I look for these traits in people I surround myself with. Spontaneity!
Last year I was fortunate to go on a 7 week 9000 mile quest across the country. What an amazing experience! Hit all the fantastic national parks this country has to offer and spent most of the time hiking, camping and just enjoying the outdoors. Highlights were hiking in the Rocky Mountains, exploring the incredible parks in Utah (Arches, Bryce and Zion), hiking into and camping inside the Grand Canyon, Yosemite, Redwood and Humbolt in Northern CA, and of course Yellowstone. One of those few places that is still primitive and wild. See pics in US Tour 2007 album.
I love music and playing guitar ranks highest among many interests and talents (25 years of experience and counting). I enjoy listening to and playing many different styles of music. For instance: blues, rock, arabic, indian, classical and spanish (studied in college), flamenco, jazz and metal (what can I say I am well rounded).
Delving deeper: Spirituality is important to me. I consider myself a Christian but am open to all faiths as they seem to have a common thread and share the same basic principles and goals.....or so it seems. I find meditation, yoga (received my teacher's certificate last summer), and body rolling help undue the inevitable damage of everyday life. Enjoy learning. Big topic for me lately is how the body and mind work together and general health/nutrition. The goal being a healthier and happier life. Assuredly, I still have my vices and guilty pleasures (insert evil villain laugh).
What else, I am into classic musclecars and recently bought a 1970 Dodge Charger with a 440 engine. I am enjoying working on it and fixing it up. I enjoy creating things and working with my hands. I design and build custom audio and guitar electronics for my work and in my free time. I enjoy drawing, calligraphy and many other things I have no time to do anymore. Travel and exploration are really calling me, so I am doing my best to satisfy this curiosity to see and learn more about this fascinating world. Come join me if you dare!
