About Me

real editor best profile tools real editor best profile tools
How I made my profile:
I used Dave & Jay's amazing myspace profile editor . MyGen Profile Generator
I grew up surrounded by music, singing and playing clarinet from a young age before joining an indie band called Daybreak in the mid-nineties as lead singer.
My music tastes and influences varied greatly over the years, before moving to Manchester in the mid-nineties, I was heavily influenced by guitar music in particular the Beatles and the Stone Roses. My time in Manchester actually developed my taste for soul & hip-hop through Fat City & Grand Central Records and the Planet K and Friends and Family club nights, combined with staying up late every Wednesday night to listen to Gilles Petersons Worldwide radio show of course...
I then studied a music technology course at SBC, Birmingham, and started to make music back in 2003.
In 2005 I hooked up with Wayne Lotek Bennett in Birmingham and put together my first album titled "a symbol & a sound" by the Unity Gain Theory (see top 8 friends below), which was released worldwide on my own Label (Trust in Dust Records) The album got good props in the specialist press and has lead on to many other oportunities.
One of my tracks featured on More or Les's 2nd album "The Truth About Rap" which has been received very well, reaching many hip-hop magazines Top Tens for 2006 and continue to work with Les on his upcoming projects.
Then came word from Japan and Swamp Records, who asked me to produce a follow up for release in Japan, which is where I am currently at. Tracks for this album are on the player now (details below).
