About Me

Hollow Advocate is based in Mount Gambier, South Australia, and is comprised of Brad Close, Jim Close, Simon Hollands and Alex "Albi" Wood. Forming from a previous band, Brad and Jim started scouting for new members since other members had made conscious decisions to depart from the band for personal reasons.
Brad, while surfing Myspace, came across Hollands, and set up an audition as quick as possible. Hollandsm at first, was the bass player for the band, but has since taken on the lead guitar role.
Albi had been a fan of the music Brad and Jim were creating, and when he started playing bass, a band member had just left the band, so Jim invited Albi to play bass for the band. Of course, Albi was happy and accepted to play with the band.
Currently, the band are working on some new musical demos to put onto CD and hand over to local radio stations, and preparing for playing more gigs very soon.

Sounds Like: Something new and fresh, Sort of Post Hardcore/Melodic Rock is the best way to describe it.
