Angela Feeds the Band!
From here on, I will be the traveling cook looking for the next greatest Band or Artist and musical legends to interview and prepare customized meals for. I will delve into their lives and share their stories with you, while offering a fare of simplified gourmet cooking; no flop pops out of my make shift kitchen, and only happy notes cross my lips.
Okay, if you need an exact recipe then I hope I don't disappoint you because Angela Siracusa never makes the same meal twice, that's just the kind of cook I am.
Relying on exact measurements and having to buy the exact this and that goes against my nature. I like to improvise on the spot.
To me, turning pages of a recipe book is for inspiration and ideas only. But trust me, I will tempt you with my eclectic style of cooking; never exact but oh so bucco! So, let's party and Rock'n Roll together. I love cooking parties involving great music; especially parties that take place spontaneously. Those are the BEST OF ALL!
All I need is an incredible band/artist to celebrate with, an electrical source of heat or campfire, a bag of my favourite herbs, a variety of pantry items, fresh produce and meat. Let us not forget my trusted three favourite oils, olive and sesame and extra virgin coconut oil and my favorite HOT SAUCE, called "BRUSH ON COOL"!
With my tote filled with these fine staples I will stun the bands/artists with my bouncy speed of organizing everything and the lingering fragrances of a meal to remember.
When I was on the road with my own band headed by my musician brother Mike Siracusa (also my lifelong musical mentor AND creator of BRUSH ON COOL hotsauce), we cooked up a storm with the aid of an electric deep dish cooker. We'd serve a feast for the band and some invited guests after finishing our gigs late at night, enjoying the bonhomie of shared meals.
