About Me

I'm a small town boy lost in a big city. I live with my partner in Long Beach, California and love it but long to return to Montana someday, hopefully for an early retirement although I'm much too young to be thinking about retirement. Seriously much too young.Family and friends are my favorite things in life. Another reason I need to get back to Montana! But, in the meantime I'll settle for annual visits to/from family and spending time with some great friends.I'm an organizer, a professional organizer. I'm organized. But it's damn fun!

My Interests

Rainbows, unicorns... Seriously? I just like to have fun. My obsessions change frequently. Right now I'm a bit obsessionless but I'm sure to glom onto something new soon.

I'd like to meet:

Friendly, intelligent, honest, fun, laid back, open-minded people. I also love connecting with people from my past, high school, college, 20s bar life... Those who lean to the left. The ones on the right aren't my people. Oh, and people who are fresh...

Music:

A key factor in my life. I have certain artists to whom I gravitate, however, I have an extremely eclectic library of music I've been collecting for 30 years.

Movies:

Cheesy 80s movies grab me: St. Elmo's Fire, Sixteen Candles, Breakfast Club, etc. I always loved Molly Ringwald! I love my Netflix and have taken full advantage of it. Of course, I'm a sucker for a schmaltzy love story but I also love documentaries, thrillers, WWII stories, etc. I'm pretty easy going when it comes to movies but of course there is some shit I can't be bothered to watch.

Television:

Love BBC America! Lost, Heroes, ER, The Office, Top Chef... and more. I'm not fool enough to say, "oh, I don't watch much TV". Anyone who makes that statement and owns a television is full of shit.

Books:

Anything Armistead Maupin or Douglas Coupland write. Biographies, quirky stories...

Heroes:

Any good people who make a difference in the world.
