I've recently come to the conclusion that all bars should be themed...my favorite one i've seen so far: Korean Pirates. I love eating good food (preferebly with good friends) and will do almost anything for a good mojito. I also apparently like any movie with the word "sun" in the title. ie..."empire of the sun" "little miss sunshine" "before sunrise" "before sunset"....weird........... Few things make me happier than a nice dry red wine, a down comforter, and a posh hotel room, although spending the weekend at the beach house comes pretty close. Embarrassingly, my affections can be bought quite easily and rather cheaply with either pistachio macarons (laduree, payard or little next door) or pretty much ANYTHING from Lady M Confections on 78th St. and Madison on the upper east side........ I hate buying shoes (although i'm always game for a new coat/jacket esp if it has epaulets)and think Dean & Deluca is the greatest gift God bestowed upon mankind. I'm easily distracted, especially by anything aesthetically pleasing.. and i'm a bit of a purist, but i promise, if you hang with me, we'll be eating well... so long as you Ignore my affinity to the waffle house...it baffles even me...I enjoy looking at photos of airplane food and while i'm absolutely appalled at what airlines will call "food" and serve to coach passengers, i have to admit that can't get enough of looking/reading about people's horrific experiences while they're subjected to yet another re-constituted re-heated pepperoni pizza.... i think it's like my version of torture porn (which i loathe)...Lastly, I occasionally rock a mini-mullet, although completely un-intentionally i assure you.
