About Me


The Workday Release is a four-piece rock group from Orange County, CA. The band is made up of David Ottestad (Vocals/Guitar), Chris White (Guitar), Nick Green (Bass) and Johnny Hamilton (Drums). Despite several member changes, The Workday Release has played over 50 shows in California, released a full-length record, and built a strong fanbase in their home state in just nine months. Setting goals of fame and wealth aside, The Workday Release strives to be a hardworking band that focuses on the relationships the members make with the people who listen to their music. “For me, music is no longer about the fame or the money. Instead, I am focused on one thing only; the impact I can make on one person’s life through a simple relationship founded upon a shared love for music.” – lead singer David Ottestad.
The group has begun work on their next record, set to release in the beginning of 2010.
