MySpace Layouts MySpace Codes MySpace Backgrounds
I'm a graduate in Marketing from the College of William and Mary.
BACKGROUND: I was born in Washington D.C. My parents are from an island called MAURITIUS. It's beautiful but it's slowly losing its beauty to those who are trying more and more to exploit it. Dialect spoken there is Creole. Official languages are: French and English (although Mauritians rarely understand tourists who speak English). The reason why I look Asian is because the majority of my ancestors were/are Hakka Chinese. I do have Creole in me hence the reason that I sometimes have people asking me if I'm fully asian or mixed. I often get asked if I am Filipina.
I'm a pretty goofy and silly gal and I welcome new, fun, and thrilling/crazy experiences. I am usually open and up for anything...drunken skateboarding, climbing construction machines/vehicles, naked diving into Lake Ontario at 5 C and other wild activities. I'd like to get more outdoorsy and am hoping to meet others who would like to go out and enjoy all that nature has to offer.
Hobbies include making jewelry out of various materials (hemp, wood/glass/clay beads, thread, tiger-tail, etc), doing active adventurous things (which I haven't been doing lately and that is really getting to me), hiking, drawing, dancing, teaching myself the guitar, EATING (I should really try and control that...it's a bit strange to out eat guys you eat out with...I'm not a blimp but with my appetite it could happen)...
I'm still the type of person who is initially shy and then quite talkative and friendly after I get a sense of comfort.
I also enjoy TRAVELING and getting some exposure on the different cultures out there as well as the different dishes.Did I mention that I love to EAT. If I see a delicious dish, it's rare that I'll resist tasting it.

My Interests

-I make jewelry...The casual stuff involving beads, different threads, tiger-tail, hemp, etc... I like to draw as well - trying to work on drawing people's portraits... Artsy but into maths and sciences as well but I haven't worked on that kind of material since I left engineering and stopped tutoring (for fun).
-Enjoy playing sports for fun. not excellent at a few sports...that's why I insist on playing certain things for fun...such as soccer, basketball, football, baseball, ultimate frisbee, rock climbing as well (I've mainly done indoor rock climbing)...
-Love to DANCE!!!

I'd like to meet:

Adventurous, unique, fun, open-minded people. Those who can allow themselves to be goofy and creative and enjoy life in the now... People with some interesting talent...be it a contortionist, a musician, an artist...anything pretty much. People with ambition and drive, but who aren't always all about themselves and their needs. Honest, Trustworthy, Selfless, kind, helpful, Considerate, sweet and humorous dudes and dudettes.

In general, I'd like to meet people who leave me wanting to learn more from them or wanting to spend more time in their company because I find them intriguing and accepting of me :) Positive people are also people I'd like to meet - it's good to be reminded about the brighter things in life.

Anyway, I dig that Britney did what she did.  Dunno why, but I admire her for doing it.  I've been talking about shaving my head for the past 10 years and haven't done it - partially be...
