About Me
Creative soul with too much time on my hands and a bad habit of spending it the wrong way.I'm 27, going on 28, a student of Science of Religion at the university of Copenhagen, living with my boyfriend and enjoying life. I'm a mad gamer, and currently I'm kicking some ass in Civ IV. I've spent so much time playing so far, that I'd be Ph.D. by now, had I spent the same amount of energy studying. But hey - at least I'm Ghandi, the mad dictator, and so far I've conquered many nations and my people adore me.I have a profound love for anything quirky and absurd, anything morbid and paradoxical. Nothing really scares me except losing my loved ones, but then again - that scares the shit out of me, so who am I kidding?I've been om Myspace before, with another profile and name, but got tired with the bullshit and superficial admiration, but this time I'm planning on using my profile for 2 purposes:1) listening to music. At the moment I'm in love with Balstyrko and Blæs Bukki, and I've encountered no other platform as suited to discovering new tunes, than Myspace.2) I'm beginning to realize, that by writing, I'm living. Now, my english may not be top-notch, but I'm hoping to get to know people from all over the globe, and Danish is just not that common a language. However, when I conquer my shyness and decide that my shit is okay for publishing, I'm gonna use my profile in order to get an audience. But again - I'm a procrastinator in my very essence, so it may be a while (if anyone cares :D)I've come to the conclusion that life is all about love. As tree-hugging as that may sound, I'm adopting an attitude of comprehending rather than judging, listening rather than speaking. I find it useful in a lot of ways, but mostly I find that I'm happy doing, what I'm doing. At the moment I'm writing a thesis (cand.mag level) about Tolkien and how Old Norse, Celtic and German myths (in particular) are used, reinvented and transformed into an epic of social responsibility, taking action and changing the course of fate. If anyone feels that they have something to share, please contact me. I'm very interested in feedback, and I'm considering publishing some of my work so far.And that's about it, for now. Happy days and take care out there!
