Rot Gut Gutter Sluts

For years these boys aimlessly wandered the central New York region in searching for a purpose. Slowly music came into the foreground. In the early days, Melvin and Snakebite could be found sharpening their skills in the basement stars of Captivity while the BZA mindlessly wandered thru culinary class at the local BOCES. After the implosion of Captivity, the BZA and Snakebite moved on to form Bean Landscaping while Melvin made his voice heard in Broken Signs and Felonies. But severe cases of ADD and a lack of Ritalin paved the way for the demise of both bands. For a few years very little transpired. The BZA and Snakebite just kinda drifted around while Melvin wandered from band to band, in search of a permanent outfit. On one particular afternoon, solely by chance, the three high school friends found themselves on stage, cranking through 5 songs with the most horrid of organization. Lack of practice aside, they knew they had found what they were looking for. Out of the rubble of the Violators and the original Gutter Sluts, the three solidified themselves as the Rot Gut Gutter Sluts, a band ready to take on the world and absorb all the worlds' drugs and alcohol in the process.
