Well I moved back to the Frostburg area after finishing at WVU. I do miss college life from time to time, but it is also nice to have moved on. Mostly I miss all my wonderful friends (you guys are stretched out across the country now)! I moved back to Western Maryland to take a job at FSU over 2 years ago. It has been a major career flip from wildlife research to education, but I love working with the students and admit this job is proving to be far more rewarding than hot days on the water hauling nets in chest waders. I'm still the nature geek out there identifying trees and flowers and snapping pictures, but now on a hobby level. I have been working with community children in the BBBS program for over a year now too. I like to disappear for long weekends alone on the farm watching the mountains, reading and contemplating life. I love being alone in the middle of nowhere! It can really help put our small lives into perspective! I bought my first home and have been giving it a face-life (still a work in progress). I hope to get updates on everyone!
