My thoughts will always be with you, Marcus.

About Me

It brings me a lot of sadness to bring the bad news that the other half of Greenpin, Marcus Lendway (Bobby Pinn), passed away early morning on Saturday, January 20th, 2007. He had a medical problem that he was unaware of, and unfortunately, it took his life. He was a very energetic, talented MC, great writer, and most importantly, an amazing person. The energy between him and I in the studio can't be matched, as the chemistry had us both continuously writing. We hadn't started the Greenpin project all THAT long ago, but the moment it started, we consistantly called each other with new ideas and verses to bounce off each other, and in the first week that we wrote together, before we decided to be a group, we had 3 songs completed.
Marcus was the kind of person that was always planning something, and you didn't tell him it can't happen, because it can. If he had to drive cross state, he would. If he had to fly to California, he did. And he really did, this isn't just a metaphor. There are many, many songs that Marcus and I had completed that we didn't have a chance to record, and that kills me inside. But, we do have a decent number that we were able to record, and Roe (DJ Sweetooth of 2th & Nail) also has some of his final recordings. There are many songs that have been heard by few people, and we're going to do our best to get those out to everyone. Marcus would want you to hear it. The music is not going to stop. In fact, Marcus would tell me off pretty severely if it did. He just wanted to be heard. My career is now dedicated to him. We love you Marcus, and I know you're watching down on us.

Who am I? I don't know. Honestly, I'm just a goofy guy...except when I'm tired...but when I'm REALLY tired, I get REALLY goofy. It's who I am. If you don't like it, go eat a cookie (well, you can go eat one anyways, they're good for you...right?). Ok, I'll admit it. I'm a nerd. And I like it.
If you're trying to find one of my performances and you don't see any listed, don't fret - just find me. I'm always performing, even if I'm not rapping. After all, we're all just actors, and the world is our stage, right?
I am going to school at the Institute of Production and Recording in Minneapolis, MN for a degree in Audio Engineering (that's a fancy name for "music stuff!" you know, kinda like a janitor can be called a custodial engineer). The practical of what my degree will give me is to become a producer and the guy behind the boards in a recording studio. Though my true love is performing music.
I rap. You're listening to my music right now. No? Unmute your computer, you doof! If you don't like my music, that's okay, I don't like you, either. I usually go to make serious songs, but sometimes end up writing goofy songs, like my song 'Myspace Predator' in which I took the character of a 26 year old myspace predator going after a 17 year old girl. Maybe it's not funny, but it made me laugh. It's a parody. It's like SNL, only in rap form. Anyway, I do have real stuff too...just listen.
As far as music that I listen to, I listen to a lot...essentially anything you throw at me I'll at least take a listen to it...though I haven't quite gotten a taste of Yugoslavian Polka-Grunge-Pop quite yet...maybe someone should fix that. On second thought, don't worry about it.
Anyway, I'm just an easy going guy that is pretty much always busy...but I generally have a ton of energy, if I'm in the right company...and I have enough sleep! Plus, redbull gives me wings.
I like to have fun. In my opinion, fun is pretty fun. If you're trying to find me, you'll probably find me (and probably in this order) in the studio, at a party, in school, or at work. If I had the choice, it'd be just in the studio or at a party/bar (even if I'm performing), because I don't really consider working on music work. I enjoy it. I go to a cool school though, I hardly consider it school. The moral of the story? Do what you do, and I'll do what I do. Just have fun doing it. Or else goblins will eat something you consider cute, and that wouldn't make you happy, would it?
I really didn't cover much, but if you want to know more, you'll have to talk to me. Happy eats! (I'm talking about the cookies you're supposed to be eating, you monkies!)
Ok, the about me section is done....move along....or go do something...
