About Me

I love my friends and family, and would do almost anything for them at any hour of the day or night. My husband is the most amazing man in the world, and I love him with all my heart.I love the mountains, good wine, sunrise, baseball (Go Mets), movie night, laughing over the 'good ole' days', live music, grilling out, football on a Saturday with my couch and a beer, hiking, the beach, coffee and the Sunday paper, 'rilla, live theatre, shooting photography, people who make me laugh and are fun to be around, warm chocolate chip cookies right from the oven with a cold glass of milk, sarcasm, bars with more than 20 beers on tap, shoes that fit, bad hair days, L-R-C, snow days, thunderstorms, lazy mornings with David, road trips to no where or somewhere, reruns, Sparkles, and random phone calls.I've been known to trip down stairs, fall off barstools, back into things, and fly through glass windows. One time I actually sprained my ankle while playing pool. I am a redhead with blonde moments...or am I a blonde with redhead moments?I don't like stupid people, sushi, unpunctional people, seafood without the ocean in sight, and drinks that come with umbrellas.I want to travel, spend more time with those friends whom have scattered to the wind, and check things off my life's "to do" list as I wander.

My Interests

Renovating our house (AKA the Money Pit). I've done most of it myself including a whole new kitchen. I wasn't planning on that project but after a night of 9 degree weather and a frozen pipe bursting inside the house I was forced to do it. I'll admit it needed some updating since I am sure it was the original kitchen minus the wood burning stove. I have also torn up the carpet and redone all the hardwood floors, painted three sides of the outside (some day I'll get to the 4th), and painted everything inside. When I am not slaving over my house I enjoy running, swimming, photography, and travel.My talented husband has build two closets, a bookshelf and and desk. Next is a hutch and bookshelf in the hall. Oh and he finishd that 4th side of the house this summer. What a great guy.

Music:

All time favorite band is U2 and I finally saw them in concert in November for the first time. Worth the wait, would have paid double for the tickets and I will see them again as soon as possible.As for the rest of my music taste...probably easier to say I don't like country music other than that pretty much everything goes.

LOST, CSI (vegas only), Law & Order, The Amazing Race, Without a Trace, Cold Case, Family Guy, and Dirty Jobs.

Books:

Dan Brown, Mitch Albom, John Grisham, John Irving, Nelson DeMille. I also collect antique books. I have first editions of Gone with the Wind (but I've never read it), and Little Women. I also have complete collections of Charles Dickens, Shakespeare, and Tennyson and about a 100 other random classic writers.
