Music in Indieanapolis sounds like Joy Division on MDMA and Elvis Prisley on heroin, or like the Pixies playing classical music on the piano, or like the Sonic Youth listening to Frank Sinatra while they drink cocktails by the pool with David Bowie talking about the meaning of death, or like Nick Cave singing alone with Feist while he tries to get her drunk and manipulate her, or maybe like a dj set by LCD Soundsystem back to back with Crystal Castles that is cut off due to power failure and replaced by an unplugged National performance with a special guest appearance by Interpol. Or maybe it just sounds nice.
