Trying to think like a dog.

About Me

Pretty much all I talk about is the Lake or my dog Rufus. But I love music, playing guitar and writing songs. I like creating things- whether considered art or not- just expressing myself and getting things off my chest. I also like thinking as stupid as that sounds, being exposed to new ideas. I want to be a teacher "when I grow up" and write musicals in my freetime. My goal's to make the most of everything!

My Interests

Guitar, Songwriting, Watersports (i.e. slalom skiing, wakeboarding, kneeboarding, etc.), Reading, Writing, Photography, Drawing, Theater/Musicals, Biology and animals, Meaning of Life, Reincarnation

The poster for my rock musical- Anonymous Henchman #3: The Secret Life of John Doe.

I'd like to meet:

"I've heard it said that people come into our lives for a reason, bringing something we must learn, and we are lead to those who help us most to grow, if we let them and we help them in return."--Schwartz Yeah I know I'm a nerd for putting that up there, but honestly that really does sum up my belief.

Music:

Acoustic/Classic/Pop Rock, Showtunes, Classical... More or less everything.

Movies:

In America, Rent, What the Bleep do we Know?, Crash, Best in Show, My Neighbor Totoro, March of the Penguins, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Josie and the Pussycats, Mel Brooks films, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Life of Brian, probably more I can't think off of the top of my head.

Television:

Grey's Anatomy, Lost, Ghost Hunters, Jon Stewart, Colbert Report, anything on Discovery, Animal Planet, Food Network......Medium in 3D the only way to truly experience the epic adventures of a psychic communicating with the dead to solve mysteries. Quality.

Books:

Illusions, The Third Chimpanzee, God's Debris, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, Noises Off, Mists of Avalon, Flowers for Algernon, Angels in America, 'Salem's Lot, Reading Lolita in Tehran, 5 People you Meet in Heaven, Watership Down, Perks of Being a Wallflower, Dan Brown books, and a whole bunch more. I pretty much like everything I read... there's always a few though that stand out.

Heroes:

My mother and father, Grandma and Granpa (both sides), my late-Great Grandma, and the wonderful leaders of Troop 6669, all such brave, strong, and fantastic people! Anyone willing to stand up for what they believe in.

Sigh

I appologize for always pretending that I'm deep and in constant search of the big message or something.  Or that I know the big message or something.  Yeah I think about the stuff I write a...

Who We Will Be or Who We Were

Don't Get Stuck on the Point

Okay, don't laugh.  March of the Penguins did spark this thought in me- why the drive to live?  Honestly.  Yeah to pass on genes, but what's the point?  At least in my mind I'...
