King Quill had music before he entered this world as his mother put music up to her stomach to feel the unborn child dancing inside. A talented writer who started writing poems and short stories at the age of 5. At the age of 7 King Quill appeared in his first play while attending E.R Carter Elementary school. By the age of 8 King Quill began exploring his musical abilities as he started playing the trombone. In the transition of moving from Atlanta, Ga's inner city to the suburbs of Decatur Ga at the age of 13 King Quill's focus in music grew to participating in chorus while he also was a well rounded athlete excelling in Football, Basketball, and Track while attending Peachtree Jr. High and then Dunwoody High School. During high school King Quill also found the time to promote parties with longtime friend and fellow 24/7 Hustlaz groupmate "Mike Muzik". Although King Quill was offered scholarships in Chorus and Track he chose to play football for the Pioneers of Tusculum College in Greeneville Tn where he also was elected President of his Freshman Class and was the only Freshman starter playing cornerback. While at Tusculum King Quill excelled in their mass communications program studying photography, video production, and radio practicum but mostly King Quill realized the vastness of his capabilities. Family issues mixed with feeling trapped at Tusculum it was time for a change. King Quill then walked on to play football closer to home at The State University of West Georgia where he studied psychology. During his time at West Georgia, King Quill started the college chapter of the NAACP at West Georgia and also served as president. He also joined the prestigious ranks of The Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity where his vocals soon proved priceless during stepshows, chants, in the club. He also served as president and Community Service Chairman for his fraternity chapter. But something was still missing! King Quill then took his college experience to another level as he began managing clubs in Carrollton, Ga such as The Blue Dolphin and Club 31. He used these positions to give shows and help promote many of our top tier artists today while developing the artists he managed within his college community. King Quill has taken his passion for music and writing and combined it with his love for performing and entertaining large crowds of people and then mixed it with his destined leadership abilities and is now making his mark on the world. With his unique rugged but smooth style King Quill is infectiously taking over ear drums from continent to continent. One of the best Hype men in the game for the last several years King Quill feels it is time to display all of his talents to the world starting with his Debut Album "Catylyst". King Quill is also a part of Big Oomp Records Super group 24/7 Hustlaz along with Mike Muzik, Playa Swade, and Loko The Truth.
